Virtual Presentation Request

This tool is for requesting a virtual-only presentation at IEEE AP-S/URSI 2025.

Please note that valid reasons for switching to a virtual presentation include only the following:

  • personal health issues that are affecting either you or someone who relies on you as a caregiver; or
  • visa issues, e.g., conversion of your multi-entry visa to single entry, etc.; or
  • your employer's decision to rescind approval to travel

and

  • you cannot find a colleague to present your paper on your behalf

It is not considered to be a valid reason to switch to a virtual presentation because of funding issues or because of travel inconvenience, or a preference to present remotely.

If your paper is switched to a virtual presentation, you will be required to upload a video recording of your presentation (15 minutes), which will be played during your session, together with in-person presentations. Additionally, videos will be posted and will be available for viewing to all conference registrants before, during, and after the conference.

Details are currently under finalization, but it will also be expected that an author be available to respond to questions during the session via audio-only connection.

At least one author of your paper must register by the deadline of 18 June 2025, and must select the USD 50 Virtual Presentation Surcharge. The maximum number of papers covered by each registration is specified on the registration webpage.

Requests to present in a virtual mode must be received by 15 June 2025.
